He didn't have Jessica by his side this time, but these two have been happily reunited in LA recently after busy Springs of work for both of them. JT always has a project or ten going on, but even this workaholic has to enjoy a little down time at home every now and then.

Reese Witherspoon was fully equipped for the yucky London weather today, breaking out her hat, trench coat and big gray umbrella. She wasn't about to let a little rain get her down, smiling big as she roamed the streets and ducked into a coffee shop. Reese has been busy visiting with Jake and showing Ava and Deacon the sights, but it looks like she's also managed to find time to explore England by herself too.

The mystery of Oscar-winner Nicole Kidman's name choice for her daughter has reportedly been solved, with Kidman's father saying "Sunday Rose" was inspired by an Australian arts patron notorious for her lurid love life.

Antony Kidman said the unusual name chosen by Kidman and her country music star husband Keith Urban was first suggested by him and his wife, who drew inspiration from prominent Australian arts patron Sunday Reed.

"I have read a bit about Sunday Reed and her husband John. She was a key mover and shaker in the arts around the beginning of the century. The name Sunday struck me as being a nice name for a woman, so my wife and I mentioned it," Antony Kidman told the Daily Telegraph newspaper on Wednesday.

Sunday Reed lived for nine years during the 1930s in a three-way love triangle relationship involving her arts patron husband and one of Australia's best-known artists, Sidney Nolan. She eventually became Nolan's muse.

Nolan is best known in his homeland for a series of stylized paintings of famous outlaw Ned Kelly, who battled police in an armored suit and whose final days were turned into several films variously starring Mick Jagger and late Australian actor Heath Ledger, who died of a drug overdose in January.

Sunday Reed was also niece of one of Australia's richest men and Nolan painted his Ned Kelly series, several of which hang in the Australian National Gallery, in her living room.

Reed committed suicide 10 days after the death of her husband in 1981.

The Telegraph said Nicole Kidman and Urban had spent a long time looking at a quote by Nolan about birth, hanging in a Sydney art gallery, shortly before announcing Kidman's pregnancy in January 2008.

"When you are young you are given a good view of life, because of your closeness to birth," Nolan wrote.

Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, Kidman's first biological child, was born on Monday and weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces (2.93 kg).

Kidman and former spouse Tom Cruise adopted two children during nearly 10 years of marriage that ended in divorce in 2001.

Congrats to Beyonce and Jay-Z who tied the knot tonight in NYC. We've been watching the details unfold as tents went up and flowers arrived, followed by guests for the big event. The marriage license was put to good use, as the Bonnie and Clyde of '03 have become husband and wife. Jay-Z and Beyonce wed at his Tribeca apartment with family and close friends including Gwyneth and Chris Martin. Jay-Z has a show in North Carolina tomorrow night so the honeymoon may be on hold but knowing these two, they'll be living it up this summer in some fabulous destination.

Kate and Lila!
Kate Moss wasn't about to let a little model rivalry get in the way of taking her kiddie entourage to Disneyland on Friday. Her daughter Lila looks happy as could be; unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for one of the other children. We have seen a whole new side of Kate on her LA trip, and even though we're used to Kate the rocker chick, her new maternal side is growing on us too.

Britney's Parents Take Control!

Britney Spears’ parents have won round one of their war with their daughter’s controversial confidant Sam Lutfi to gain control of the singer, who is currently undergoing analysis in the psychiatric unit of the UCLA Medical Center.

Commissioner Reva Goetz made Brit’s dad, Jamie Spears, and family attorney Andrew Wallet conservators over her estate. She also granted the right to get restraining orders against “persons they deem dangerous or harmful." A restraining order was immediately issued against Lutfi. "Because of the seriousness of Miss Spears' condition, I think it’s necessary these orders are granted," said Commissioner Goetz.

Lynne Spears let out a sigh of relief on hearing the decision in Los Angeles Superior Court. “The parents wanted Sam out of the picture and that’s what they got,” a family friend tells In Touch. “This is exactly what they were hoping for.”

The ruling means Britney’s parents can move in to her home, can make any and all people move out, change locks, cancel all credit cards and revoke all powers of attorney.

Attorney Blair Berk, who is representing the Spears family, was also present during the proceedings and sat with her arm around Jamie. The two were engaged in deep conversation. Burke also represented Lindsay Lohan and Mel Gibson during their DUI cases last year.

The ruling is effective and will be re-evaluated on Monday, February 4. The next hearing in the long-running child custody case between Britney and ex-husband Kevin Federline is on February 22.

“It is hopeful that with the help of her family and the current temporary conservatorship in place, Britney will be able to get healthy quickly so that she can prove to the court that she is serious about being mother to her boys and will act in their best interest,” celebrity family law attorney Goldie Schon tells In Touch. She adds of Commissioner Goetz: “She was a family law judge for a long time and therefore is well equipped to make these decisions for the family to protect Britney from herself. The judge found, in effect, that Lutfi has been harassing Britney - thus the civil harassment restraining order.”

McPhee was recently dropped from her music label but can next be seen in the Anna Faris comedy I Know What Boys Like, out later this year.

Nicole Richie picked up some of life's small pleasures — Butterfinger and Vogue — at a Ralph's on Saturday afternoon. She looked chic in black (with her red beret), but kept it all comfortable with her Oprah-endorsed Uggs, leggings and Birkin. For as long as Nicole's been pregnant, everyone has been applauding how healthy she looks with some more weight on her so it'll be interesting to see what happens after she has her baby.

Fergie Get's into the Christmas Spirit
Fergie looked a little less than thrilled to be showing off her Kipling bags at Macy's this weekend — maybe someone clued her in that these aren't the prettiest purses we've ever seen. Fergie then went back into singing mode to perform at the 9th Annual A Home for the Holidays special that will air on December 21. Her festive red dress is one of the more conservative costume choices she's made, but between her shiny frock and big smile we bet she'll get us into the holiday spirit just in time for Christmas.

Paris Hilton attended a party at the Versace Mansion in Miami Saturday night. Paris didn’t seem to know anybody at the party, so she decided to pretend to talk on her cell phone, according to Fox News:

"It was interesting," said our insider. "She didn't know a lot of people there and obviously felt uncomfortable, so she chatted away on her phone to phantom friends, at one point it even started to beep while she was talking."

It's nice to know that even famous people feel out of place sometimes.

Britney Spears did a little shopping this weekend and a little shoplifting. While checking out at a Van Nuys gas station Britney was approached by a cameraman and asked how she was doing. While he was taping, Britney got a bit upset with him then she took a lighter. She’s seen walking out and saying "I stole something. Oh, I'm bad. Ohhhhh!" before getting in her car.The crazy part is the owner of the gas station doesn’t want to press charges and wants Britney to keep coming back, according to TMZ.

Britney's Comeback on the Video Music Awards!
Okay I had already finished this blog post but then watched the VMA's tonight and couldn't believe my eyes. During "Big Brother 8" my sister went on the net and had read all these bad reviews about Britney's performance for those who had seen it in different time zones. So I decided to check it out for myself. Oh it was so sad, she looked like she was on drugs and could barely move on the stage. She looked out of shape and just not with us at all. There was a scared look on her face the whole time like she had no idea where she was, then they panned to Fifty Cents in the audience and he looked confused.

It looks like she didn't prepare at all for this comeback and someone said she should have started a year ago working on her routine for this event. I so wish they had of pulled the plug and put someone else on there instead. Not sure how she will recover from this but I hope she can pull herself together. There are other stories in this post, it's not all about Britney.

As yet I couldn't find at youtube video but you can bet there will be one up tomorrow of the event. Well according to GQ Magazine's latest interview Avril sounds very confident and put together. Then again you sort of have to be in Hollywood. Here are some of the highlights:

Finally some new news!

Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams Have Split!According to Us Magazine:
A source close to the couple tells Us that Heath and Michelle "quietly and amicably split a few weeks ago."

"The relationship had been rocky recently. They tried very hard to make it work but finally decided to separate. They just grew apart."

The couple, who live in Brooklyn, NY and have a daughter, Mathilda, 23 months, met on the set of Brokeback Mountain in 2004.

"They have a beautiful daughter and they are both committed to being great parents."

Reps for the couple could not be reached.

Now according to the comments section on the Us Magazine page, someone posted that they split amidst rumours that he is gay.

Nicole Kidman Miscarried Tom's Baby!

In a revealing interview in the October issue of Vanity Fair, Nicole Kidman admits that she and Tom Cruise lost a baby early into their marriage.

Kidman tells the magazine that she has wanted a child of her own since she was 17 but is willing to wait a few years because her current husband, Keith Urban, wants the couple to have some time to themselves.

In the article, on newsstands tomorrow, the 40-year-old actress opens up on everything from being single to Urban’s stint in rehab last year. She even reveals that she was engaged to a man (who she declined to identify) in between her marriages to Cruise and Urban, 39. Was it former flames Lenny Kravitz or Steven Bing?

On miscarrying a baby with ex-husband Tom Cruise:
“From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies. And we lost a baby early on, so that was really very traumatic. And that’s when it came that we would adopt Bella.”

On her children with ex Tom Cruise: Isabella, 14, and Connor, 12:
"I called Tom (from Australia) and said, 'Guess what? Bella wants blue hair.' I go with my daughter to the hair salon to get it dyed blue, and I look at her and I think, My God, it's cool!"
