Fringe Is On The Rise!

While cowboy hats were in for, thankfully, only a quick minute, designers have taken that Brokeback Mountain country-flair and turned it into a classically couture look with fringe — it’s simple, it’s tasteful and it’s everywhere. Hollywood’s hottest have not let this one sweep by either. Eva Longoria has been spotted carrying Gerard Darel’s Fringe bag, Kylie Minogue was recently out on the town with her fringed sleeves doing a helicopter-like move and Ashley Olsen’s managed to stay grounded in a multi-tiered fringe shirt. Let’s just hope spurs don’t make it onto the runways…

You know Milo Ventimiglia as Peter Petrelli, the death-defying male nurse of NBC’s Heroes. This fall, the 30-year-old actor takes a break from saving lives to go on a big-screen killing spree in Pathology, a hospital thriller in which he plays an intern caught up in a game of “sex, drugs, and murder.” To prepare for the role, he hung out with morticians and murder victims at the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office. “It was a life-changing experience,” he says of his time spent with the deceased. “I’ll probably be doing the speed limit from now on.”

Safety has always come first when it comes to Ventimiglia’s wardrobe. “I know what I like, and I only invest in items I’ll still be able to wear in five or 10 years.” He’s not alone. This fall, designers are bringing back the classic black coat in upgraded fabrics such as luxurious wools and cashmeres. So what has Rachel Bilson been up to these days? Well she was spotted this past Saturday in Los Feliz, California drinking Jamba Juice. She wore a gray hoodie and matching Chanel scarf. On Friday she filmed scenes for "Chuck" where she will appear in some episodes of the show. She took her younger sister Hattie with her on the set.

Oprah is Pretty Rich!
This is the third time Forbes has put Oprah on the top of their list. She was in first place as one of the 20 Richest Women in Entertainment, then six months later she topped 100 Power Celebrity list. Britney News and More!

Britney's Comeback on the Video Music Awards!
Okay I had already finished this blog post but then watched the VMA's tonight and couldn't believe my eyes. During "Big Brother 8" my sister went on the net and had read all these bad reviews about Britney's performance for those who had seen it in different time zones. So I decided to check it out for myself. Oh it was so sad, she looked like she was on drugs and could barely move on the stage. She looked out of shape and just not with us at all. There was a scared look on her face the whole time like she had no idea where she was, then they panned to Fifty Cents in the audience and he looked confused.

It looks like she didn't prepare at all for this comeback and someone said she should have started a year ago working on her routine for this event. I so wish they had of pulled the plug and put someone else on there instead. Not sure how she will recover from this but I hope she can pull herself together. There are other stories in this post, it's not all about Britney.

As yet I couldn't find at youtube video but you can bet there will be one up tomorrow of the event. Britney's New Man!The identity of Britney's new man has been revealed. This is Damion Shippen who is her bodyguard and nanny. I wonder if she will marry this guy too. Poor girl, I think she just needs to spend some time alone and work on her image and empire.

Tori Spelling is now a minister. The "90210" alumni star became a minister over the internet.

Angelina Jolie Pampers Her Daughter!
Angelina bought her daughter a matching Valentino bag just like hers. Her daughter is only 2 years old but got this expensive handbag anyway. Okay I wish I were little Zahara.

Avril Lavigne's Latest Interview!
Well according to GQ Magazine's latest interview Avril sounds very confident and put together. Then again you sort of have to be in Hollywood. Here are some of the highlights:

On dealing with her incredible success
"Selling 24 million albums hasn't really affected me, but it has changed things. I can't walk into a room full of people any more without everybody turning their heads, and I can only eat in certain restaurants where I know I won't get hassled. But that's OK. I was born to do this, and so I've learned how to cope."

On her competition
"Someone like Kelly Clarkson is beautiful and has a pretty voice, but with me you get a much stronger image. I'm tough, I have a look that girls want to copy, and I sound a particular way. It's good if you're not easily ignored. And I'm not."

On her generosity
"I am a very giving person. When the hurricane thing happened, I went to my closet, filled six boxes of stuff and said to my assistant, 'Take it to Katrina!' I also like to give stuff to people who are my 'workers,' especially if they don't make much money."

On her polarizing personality
"People love me and people hate me, but I'm comfortable in my own skin and that's what counts. And anyway if you do hate me, you're the loser, not me."

Finally some new news!

Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams Have Split!According to Us Magazine:
A source close to the couple tells Us that Heath and Michelle "quietly and amicably split a few weeks ago."

"The relationship had been rocky recently. They tried very hard to make it work but finally decided to separate. They just grew apart."

The couple, who live in Brooklyn, NY and have a daughter, Mathilda, 23 months, met on the set of Brokeback Mountain in 2004.

"They have a beautiful daughter and they are both committed to being great parents."

Reps for the couple could not be reached.

Now according to the comments section on the Us Magazine page, someone posted that they split amidst rumours that he is gay.

Nicole Kidman Miscarried Tom's Baby!

In a revealing interview in the October issue of Vanity Fair, Nicole Kidman admits that she and Tom Cruise lost a baby early into their marriage.

Kidman tells the magazine that she has wanted a child of her own since she was 17 but is willing to wait a few years because her current husband, Keith Urban, wants the couple to have some time to themselves.

In the article, on newsstands tomorrow, the 40-year-old actress opens up on everything from being single to Urban’s stint in rehab last year. She even reveals that she was engaged to a man (who she declined to identify) in between her marriages to Cruise and Urban, 39. Was it former flames Lenny Kravitz or Steven Bing?

On miscarrying a baby with ex-husband Tom Cruise:
“From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies. And we lost a baby early on, so that was really very traumatic. And that’s when it came that we would adopt Bella.”

“You're in a hotel and you're like, 'Okay, well, I'm sitting in this big suite with an Oscar and I still don't have a life - what is wrong with me? Who do I jump on the bed with, and celebrate with, and order pancakes with?’”

On being engaged to a man after her split from Cruise but before meeting Urban:
"I get engaged and I get married — that's my thing…I got engaged to somebody…I wasn't ready. We weren't ready."

On meeting Urban:
“I would probably say that two very lonely people managed to meet at a time when they could open themselves to each other. We were a mixture of frightened and brave.”

On Urban's rehab stint:
"I've learned an enormous amount having a relationship with someone who is in recovery. I'm more than willing to walk it with him…We were in a very, very, very bad, painful place and have managed to step through it, and I hope that gives some people some hope who may be in the same place. And that's enough said. Anything else is overindulgent and unnecessary right now."

On handling a long-distance relationship:
"Two weeks is still too long for us (to be apart). We like one week. We start to hurt after seven days."

On having kids with Urban:
"I'm yearning to have one. I think I would be very sad if I wasn't able to have a baby. Keith knows I want one, and he has been getting there slowly."

On her children with ex Tom Cruise: Isabella, 14, and Connor, 12:
"I called Tom (from Australia) and said, 'Guess what? Bella wants blue hair.' I go with my daughter to the hair salon to get it dyed blue, and I look at her and I think, My God, it's cool!"
