Britney Spears on the cover of Rolling Stone!
taken from popsugar.com

Britney Spears looks sexy, toned and smiley on the much anticipated cover of
Rolling Stone this week. The magazine doesn't hit stands until Friday, but while Britney is off getting used to performing again in Europe before her stateside promotional appearances, we've got a taste of the interview. In it her longtime manager calls Circus the album that will "cement her legend status." Here are highlights:

  • On chaperoned dates: "Right when we got there, we just knew it was just bad," Spears says. "He looked like an older version of Harry Potter, but skinnier. … So I had to get dessert first. And the other date I had, the guy was really, really tall and a lot older. … We're trying to ask him questions, like, 'OK, you're into martial arts, so what kind of martial arts are you into?' And he was like, 'Oh, all kinds.' … But you know how silly we are, so we were just cracking up."
  • On her life: "I feel like an old person now . . .I do! I go to bed at, like, 9:30 every night, and I don't go out or anything."
  • On her kids: "Every time they come to visit me, I think about how they're such special people . . . [they] are starting to learn words like 'stupid,' and Preston says the f-word now sometimes. He doesn't get it from us. He must get it from his daddy. I say it, but not around my kids."

Britney's come a long way since her first provocative cover of the magazine that launched her sex symbol status, and thankfully a long way since her last one too.

There are still moments of sadness in Britney's interview, but at least she's got that bubbly sense of humor back.

Debra Messing Talks About Her Weight Loss

The Starter Wife star Debra Messing proudly appears on the January cover of Shape magazine in a gorgeous blue string bikini top and very short shorts. She looks happier than ever and ready to hit back at critics who were cruel as she tried to lose the post-baby weight.

"It was written about in the tabloids a lot. On one page it showed the actresses who got skinny in six weeks or less, and on the other page was me! I was so depressed and frustrated," she told Shape.

After her son Roman was born in 2004, Debra, 40, said she hired a personal trainer, but just couldn't keep up. "I was exhausted! I couldn't work out three hours a day and do my job as a mother and an actress." It's been three years and she has finally put the 42 extra pounds behind her.

Hopefully sending a positive message out to her fans, Debra said, "I'm very proud of how I dropped the weight because I think it was the healthy approach. I've finally taken ownership of my body."

It's refreshing to see that kind of honesty coming from such a big star. Someone should send a copy of the article to the celebrity moms who 'magically' lost all the post-baby weight in two weeks. Can you say liposuction?
