Michelle Williams is speaking out for the first time since the tragic death of Heath Ledger, the father of their two-year-old daughter, Matilda.

The heartbreaking statement reads:

"Please respect our need to grieve privately. My heart is broken. I am the mother of the most tender-hearted, high-spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father. All that I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day. His family and I watch Matilda as she whispers to trees, hugs animals, and takes steps two at a time, and we know that he is with us still. She will be brought up in the best memories of him."

Britney's Parents Take Control!

Britney Spears’ parents have won round one of their war with their daughter’s controversial confidant Sam Lutfi to gain control of the singer, who is currently undergoing analysis in the psychiatric unit of the UCLA Medical Center.

Commissioner Reva Goetz made Brit’s dad, Jamie Spears, and family attorney Andrew Wallet conservators over her estate. She also granted the right to get restraining orders against “persons they deem dangerous or harmful." A restraining order was immediately issued against Lutfi. "Because of the seriousness of Miss Spears' condition, I think it’s necessary these orders are granted," said Commissioner Goetz.

Lynne Spears let out a sigh of relief on hearing the decision in Los Angeles Superior Court. “The parents wanted Sam out of the picture and that’s what they got,” a family friend tells In Touch. “This is exactly what they were hoping for.”

The ruling means Britney’s parents can move in to her home, can make any and all people move out, change locks, cancel all credit cards and revoke all powers of attorney.

Attorney Blair Berk, who is representing the Spears family, was also present during the proceedings and sat with her arm around Jamie. The two were engaged in deep conversation. Burke also represented Lindsay Lohan and Mel Gibson during their DUI cases last year.

The ruling is effective and will be re-evaluated on Monday, February 4. The next hearing in the long-running child custody case between Britney and ex-husband Kevin Federline is on February 22.

“It is hopeful that with the help of her family and the current temporary conservatorship in place, Britney will be able to get healthy quickly so that she can prove to the court that she is serious about being mother to her boys and will act in their best interest,” celebrity family law attorney Goldie Schon tells In Touch. She adds of Commissioner Goetz: “She was a family law judge for a long time and therefore is well equipped to make these decisions for the family to protect Britney from herself. The judge found, in effect, that Lutfi has been harassing Britney - thus the civil harassment restraining order.”

The 23-year-old American Idol season five runner-up married producer Nick Cokas, 42, on Saturday in Beverly Hills.

Here are the details of the wedding her rep Justin Gray Stone and friends close to the couple shared with People and Us Weekly:

– Vow were exchanged in a 45-minute late afternoon ceremony at Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church
– McPhee wore a strapless ivory Manuel Mota gown and Neil Lane jewels (diamond and platinum chandelier earrings and diamond and platinum bracelets)
– Cokas wore an Armani tuxedo
– Fellow season five Idol contestants Kellie Pickler and Mandisa were among the 305 guests
– McPhee’s bridesmaids wore floor-length pink dresses
– Floral arrangements included pink, purple, peach and white roses as well as green hydrangea and pink cherry blossoms

McPhee was recently dropped from her music label but can next be seen in the Anna Faris comedy I Know What Boys Like, out later this year.

Hilary Duff With Her New Fragrance!

Hilary Duff captivated the Aussies when she arrived in Sydney yesterday to promote her new fragrance, Wrapped With Love. What an awkward-sounding title. Sounds like a murder victim. Over 1000 people invaded the Myer's store where Hil was shillin' her self-described "yummy" fragrance. "I don't want to eat it, but it's very yummy", the veneer-wearing starlet said. She's smart. For real, she's looking hotsy lately, though. I think she finally adjusted to those veneers. Some fans waited over nine hours to meet her! And some of them were sobbing when they finally approached her to get their fragrance signed. Some people seem to need jobs in Australia.

Britney got her hair done over the week-end at a Beverly Hills salon. Yes, she is bald but I guess she wants a change and is tired of blonde. I thought she really suited red myself in her Toxic video.

It's Over For James Blunt's Love Life!

James Blunt (32- year-old singer) and Petra Nemcova (27-year-old actress and model) have split up. They started dating in 2005 (after they met in December). They were last seen as a pair at the Oscars back in February. Lately he has been seen with Lindsay Lohen in L.A. and most recently was spotted with her at Teddy's. Here is a quote from someone who saw her at Teddy's:

"Lindsay and James were never affectionate, but they did seem flirty, standing right next to each other, and constantly talking." Lohan and Blunt were part of a group of people who left together at 2:15 a.m.

So now there is speculation that James Blunt is with Lindsay Lohan. I don't know either Lindsay or Petra but from what I've read and seen they both seem different. Lindsay is a lot younger and seems to be more of a party type.

Victoria Beckham and David Looking Tired Out!

Over the week-end Victoria and David partied with P Diddy at the Automat Bar this past week-end. They both look exhausted in this photo.

Snoop Dogg Refused Entrance In The UK!
Snoop Dogg's European tour has hit a snag as he was refused a British visa. Last September he was arrested at the John Wayne airport for trying to get on the plane with a collapsible baton. A month later he was arrested at Burbank's Bob Hope Airport because they thought he had marijuana and a handgun. After his was on The Tonight Show this past November there was another incident where he was arrested for illegally having a handgun and drugs.

Pamela Anderson and Denise Richards In Hot Water!
This past November Denise Richards assaulted the paparazzi. Two of them were taking photos of her and she got really upset and called them "paparazzi scum" etc, assaulted them and threw their laptops over the balcony. Here is a quote from what the paparazzi said: Richards and Anderson "made repeated false and defamatory statements to law enforcement and various media outlets which were deliberately calculated to embarrass, humiliate and ridicule plaintiffs."

Bruce Willis was seen kissing Courtney Love on Sunset Blvd. He turned 52 last week.

Jeremy Piven Has Worn Out His Welcome at Nobu!
Jeremy Piven is not longer allowed into Nobu after leaving a copy of the first season of Entourage (the show he stars in) as a tip. So he went into the restaurant in Aspen and with about 12 people and asked for a table. It was a very busy night but they gave him a table although it was a bit small. On his way out he said: "Thanks for nothing!" and left a DVD of Season 1 of Entourage. Then an employee saw it and ran upstairs and threw it at him on his way out.

In this photo you see George and Renee Zellweiger on the set of Leatherheads (their new movie). Renee is still in her character garb but looks like she doesn't mind a little football.

Drew Spotted at LAX!
Drew is looking pretty relaxed and laid back at Lax this week. Although known for her acting roles she is starring and producing Grey Gardens (which is a adaptation of the hit Broadway musical and came from a documentary). This story is about the lives of Edith and Edith Bouvier Beale (the aunt and first cousin of Jackie Kennedy). It is about a mother and daughter who are reclusive debutantes and work hard not to let their 50 cats take over their house. Jessica Lange and Drew will play mother and daugher.
A picture of Drew and her new man Spike (a movie/music video/commerical director who was married to Sofia Coppola) back in mid-March. For Drew's birthday the two of them went to Hawaii and then they went to the beach for a romantic dinner at the Ivy in Santa Monica. After her breakup with Fab back in early February she has been seen with Bruce Willis and Zach Braff and now Spike Jonze. She spent Valentine's Day with Jonze and was seen with him at "Arcade Fire" (music group-Canadian in fact out of Quebec).

Maggie Gyllenhaal is taking a stroll with Peter Sarsgaard (an actor who has been nominated for a Golden Globe and is known for playing villanous characters; he is most known for the movie Shattered Glass) and they stopped off at a bookstore and grabbed some joe to go as well. They live in Brooklyn and were fascinated with a FedEx envelope. The young parents (they had a baby girl back in October and her name is Ramona) look relaxed and happy.
This is another photo of the couple when they were engaged back in October. I loved her in "Mona Lisa's Smile" with Julia Roberts that was out a long time ago.

Kevin Costner Looks A Little Different!
You see the before picture back in September 2006 and the new picture March 2007. According to The National Enquirer he has put on weight and has a fuller head of hair. There is speculation he got a hair transplant to look good for his younger 33 year old pregnant wife. I think he looks great in both pictures but looks more natural in the first shot.

Here is how Heidi keeps in great shape. She uses her kids as weights while walking. Each child probably weighs 20 pounds. This is becoming a trend among Hollywood celebs. They have left the weights behind and opted to use their kids to help them lose weight post pregnancy.
